SismoLab-3D is supported by a robust hardware and software ecosystem designed for advanced seismic analysis and 3D modeling. The facility is equipped with high-performance local workstations featuring fast graphics cards and widescreen displays, complemented by remote assets including a high-capacity storage area network (SAN), a dedicated license server, and a specialized workstation for fault modeling.
To facilitate comprehensive research, the laboratory utilizes a suite of industry-standard software tools, including:
- Move Suite (Core, 2D Kinematic, Stress Analysis, Fault Response Modeling): For seismic interpretation, 3D modeling, restoration, and stress inversion.
- Seismic Interpretation & Visualization: Powered by IHS Markit Kingdom, OpendTect, Kogeo, and Seisee.
- Data Analysis & GIS: Utilizing Matlab, QGIS, and Neuralog for log digitization, trishear inversion, and database management.
This integrated infrastructure ensures precise data processing, complex modeling, and reliable validation for seismological research.
